We found interesting context from history and the present and projected it into the form of a hall with its own story, which was not the primary goal but has emerged as an added value of the building.

Medieval Most was elevated to the status of a royal city as early as the 13th century, and its historical value would rank it among the six most valuable historical towns in our territory today. The uniqueness of contemporary Most is not only seen in the unique urban development of the town, but also in the incredible success of the women's handball team with nine titles in a row.

The very sight of the sports hall is reminiscent of the symbol of the crown. This shape emerged during the design process from a logical consideration of the principle of drainage of the flat roof over the sports area by tapered wedges. By simply rotating this system by 45 degrees, the slope of the drained areas is reflected in the shape of the roof attic, strikingly resembling the shape of a crown.

The positioning of the building allows fans to enter through a representative park forecourt, which is conceived as a ceremonial area commemorating the unique achievements of the handball players.
